Welcome to Season 9, where we’ve got brand new rules and a brand new championship, however for the Sunday, things won’t be changing too much from last season, with the Beginners Cup returning.

Without further ado, let’s get into how the Sunday Beginners Cup championship is formatted!

This race will be live-stewarded, connection to our Mumble Server will be mandatory, information on how to connect will be available in our updated rules and regulations document for Season 9 when it is released.

Race Day Information

Race Date (Real-Time): Sundays at 18:00 UTC
Race Date (Virtual): Sundays
Practice: 15min
Qualifying: 15min
Race One: 30min

Rounds

Round 1 – Barcelona
Round 2 – Spa (Heavy Rain)
Round 3 – Silverstone (Night)
Round 4 – Brands Hatch
Round 5 – Zolder
Round 6 – Laguna Seca (Light Rain)
Round 7 – Zandvoort
Round 8 – Bathurst (Sunset)

You must attend 7/8 rounds in the championship, if you fail to attend 7/8 rounds and have a low attendance rating overall you may be hit with a 3-month championship ban.

Car Classes

GT3 (Lexus, Bentley, Lamborghini) Car Classes ONLY

Weather Settings

Weather is set to dry, unless specified otherwise. Light rain is set to 25% intensity with heavy rain 50% intensity.

PitSkill Requirements

Drivers with the PitSkill Rating of AM and below may compete in the Beginners Cup championship.

Drivers with a rating of Silver or above may either compete whilst serving a qualifying ban, or may pull out of the championship without risk of incurring a penalty or ban.
